“ This place is one of those awesome little hole-in-the-wall spots that surprises you in the best way. It's unassuming from the outside, but once you're in, it's all about good food and good vibes. The karaage chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, easily one of the best I've had. The (kewpie?) Mayo was a great touch. The tiger roll and crush orange roll were very fresh, flavorful, and well put together. Even the tea was surprisingly good--smooth and just right. On top of that, the service was great. Our waitress was hilarious, making the whole experience even better. If you're looking for a chill, low-key sushi spot with solid food and a fun atmosphere, this is it. Definitely coming back! ”

“ Came here for date night and it was the cutest sushi spot I have ever been to. Such a tiny little gem in the middle of San Diego. Loved how small it was, made it feel very intimate and personable. I couldn't tell you exactly what we ordered but it was honestly so fresh and delicious. Service was great and the food was so good. From the amount of food we ordered, it was just the perfect amount to keep me satisfied. I wanted to try the carbonara udon but that's gonna be on the next trip in. Highly recommend this spot but not really because I don't want it to get too crowded so that I can't come here to eat lol ”

“ Such a cute little sushi joint! I ordered: CRISPY RICE w/ TUNA - I always order crispy tuna rice anytime it's on the menu. Their's was a little different, it was bigger than I'm used to but was pretty flavorful. It was a little too saucy for my liking which took away from the tuna flavor but enjoyed it overall. RAINBOW - No avocado, my go to. Fresh fish, not too much rice, I enjoyed it. YORIMICHI - My husband enjoyed this! There was a lot of teriyaki sauce and spicy mayo so super flavorful SERVICE - Our meal came out quick and our server was really friendly! ”

“ Upon walking in, the space is rather small, but you get an immediate sense of locally-owned, homey environment. The service was very helpful and accommodating to provide us with a place to sit at the bar, while a space for a table opens up. The decor around the restaurant made me feel like I was in a local Izakaya. I ordered the Yorimishi Roll and it did not disappoint. Very filling and I left satisfied. Whenever I'm in the area again, I'd love to come visit Sushi Yorimichi! Highly recommend this restaurant for a good place to eat rolls and they serve ramen too. (Bring a jacket if you get cold easily, the AC can be very strong if it's blasting) ”

“ It's a cozy shop, reminiscent of neighborhood sushi spots in Japan. They have a wide offering beyond sushi, so great to go even if your friend doesn't like sushi. It is kinda small so would not recommend large groups. It's a cute spot great for an intimate setting. Any group larger than 4 would be tight. But it's very appropriately decorated. The sushi options are as would be expected; a few creative rolls, some nigiri and sashimi. The sushi itself was ok... not especially outstanding. The appetizers list was great and I did enjoy the agedashi tofu a lot, a personal must try wherever I go. The service was fast and attentive, I really appreciated that. Overall it was good. Nice to come for a variety of Japanese options beyond sushi. ”

I'm all about the pickled ginger, and theirs? Spot on. It's tangy, crunchy, and the perfect palate cleanser between bites of sushi magic. The fish is fresh, the rolls are on point, and the vibe? Totally gives me those Tokyo street corner sushi shop feels. It may be tiny, but it's packed with charm and flavor. A must-visit for anyone in Linda Vista craving sushi done right! “ Curry udon is one of my ultimate comfort foods and I was really happy with the curry udon here. It comes with two shrimp tempura AND a poached egg by default for (at the time of writing) $13.25! The broth isn't too thick. In fact, it's on the thinner side, but it doesn't taste watery or bland. I think the amount of seasoning is perfect. Not too salty so that it's still drinkable, and pretty flavorful. I think the portion size is quite good as well. Yorimichi keeps winning in my book. ”

“ I got surprised by the value this small restaurant had to offer! The food was good, decent portions (I took home leftovers), and the bill was a pleasant surprise. The entrees I tried were pretty good, but the takoyaki and shishito pepper appetizers were the most memorable for me. The takoyaki was how I like, rich but not too heavy. The shishito peppers had a great addictive seasoning. Only the restaurant's small size might be a complaint. There aren't many tables, so the wait can be long. However the restaurant's small size does add to its charm. There are lots of cozy and comforting dishes along with yummy sushi. The parking lot in front is pretty small too. I had to do street parking. I'd definitely like to come back here again!! ”
